These Stamps are unlocked by playing online and earning points. In Nintendo Switch Sports, Stamps now act as emotes that players can use and display while in the middle of a match. These stand as achievements attained by the player while they are playing a particular sport. Stamps in Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports Club act as unlockables that are obtained after performing specific actions while playing any given sport in the games. Golf, being an exception, is a sport that is not included at launch, but will be added in a future update. Aquatic sports that were introduced in Wii Sports Resort are also missing from the game. Notably, boxing and baseball, which are classic sports from Wii Sports, are not in the Switch sequel. With newly-introduced sports come those that did not make the cut and therefore cannot be played in Nintendo Switch Sports.
